Need help with Seafoam...any experienced V6 guys here???

Ive been hearing alot of people talk about this cleaner called Seafoam. I went over to Advanced Auto Parts and picked up two bottles of the stuff. Now i just need to figure out how to use it. Ive already done a search on this website, and Galantforums. Heres the link http://www.galantforums.com/phpBB2/viewtop...opic.php?t=5966. It says i will need two hoses and a T-adapter to connect to my PCV Valve. Isnt the PCV Valave a type of Vacuum hose??? Now if it is, shouldnt i just be able to skip all the extra hoses, and just dip the PCV Valve into the cup of Seafoam and have it sucked into the Intake Plenum with no problems??? Also is this tutorial compatable with the 6G72 Galant? (Tutorial says 4G64)? I know theres alot of knowledgable people on this board who can drop some enlightenment upon my ass. Help out please. :? :? :? :?

Is there anybody on these boards, whose used this on the V6??? I took off my Intake pipe where it meets the Throttle Body. And i peeked inside....on the outside it looked brand new, but once i opened the Butterfly flap i saw all of this black dust (im assuming its CARBON build up). The carbon wasnt caked on there...it was more like a light-medium coating of it. Whats the way to remove this??? Should i just take some Seafoam on a QTip and try to wipe it off??? And is there Carbon build up in my Intake plenum?

I have been using sea foam for a long time in my V6. I swear by the stuff. You bought two cans. Toss one in your gas tank after you follow this process for cleaning through your vacuum system. And yes, seafoam on a q-tip will clean the carbon off your intake valve. But carb and choke cleaner will work better in that area. Hit me up if you have questions. http://www.galantforums.com/phpBB2/viewtop...hlight=sea+foam
