Avg cost of tires on 17", 18", and 19" rims p

I'm stingy with my money, so if tires cost a lot more going from 17" to 18 or 19" it may sway my decision.

I drive like a grandma so actual high performance tires are not needed, but i still want safe tires, so no meximax-low priced tires either

Hope this question is not too general

    I got my 225/40/18 Falken FK-451s for $121, not including shipping+mounting.

You can get a decent 18" tire for around $100, like the Falken ZE-512.

Tires will get more expensive with size, as for example:

    From www.vulcantire.com:
    225/45/17 Falken ZE-512 (high performance all season) = $88
    225/45/17 Falken FK-451 (high performance Summer) = $95

    225/40/18 Falken ZE-512 (high performance all season) = $99
    225/40/18 Falken FK-451 (high performance Summer) = $121

225/35/19 Falken ZE-512 (high performance all season) = $165 (Discontinued)

i guess yall get better deals in yalls areas. discount tire, ntb, and even the little mom and pop shops all have about the same prices here.

i have 215/40/18 falken's, not sure which model of tire. i was lookin to get the toyo proxies and those were about the same price.

i live in wyoming. funny story, cuz the tire store i went to, that was the only set of 18s they had! i think it's odd that those would be hard to get, considering just about everything around here is hard to get :S
