4G Eclipse GSX + new Skyline

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>On the alleged AWD turbo Eclipse being talked about here, _If_ I had seen it and _If_ I had worked on it, I would not be allowed to say anything about it. So I definately couldnt say that it is a one off concept car built only to gauge public reaction to it. I wont say that it is all hand made at this point and has no production parts on it. I also can not say if it had an Outlander rear suspension and a hot rodded EVO motor and tranny. I wouldnt be able to say that there were huge design issues still to be dealt with (the whole CAN Buss mess, gas tank, front cross member and more) before even getting to the prototype stage. I wouldnt be able to say any of that.

AWD turbo 4g with an Evo 4g63t would be awesome. But I doubt it would go into production here. It would take away from their flagship Evo sales...

Now maybe a FWD turbo 4g I could see going into production, but I doubt it.
    7g for life!

Exactly what I was thinking. Though with the ever rising costs of the Evos (their at what like 35k now?), a midway point wouldn't be a bad idea.

I mean if Nissan can get away with selling a Maxima that can cost as much as a G35, then Mitsu should be able to have 2 turbo awds in their platform.

At the very least, make a super-slow AWD NA 4 banger w/the 4G63. No one gives a shit about the stock numbers anyways.

Found some drawings that are making Nissan a tad nervous. I found the "newly released concept" drawings of the new Skyline on my350z just yesterday. Today they have been all taken down (Nissan talked to the site admin).

One blogger managed to upload the pics to his blog:

The official pics will be released in a few days.
