    " teaser" - SEATS INSTALLED

still havn't put the driver side in yet. these seats feel amazing compared to the oe ones, and they're certainly better than half the racing seats i've sat in. you can actually adjust how much the side flaps hold your rib cage (different levels of stiffness). plus the lumbar support is worthless but cool. i still don't know if i'm going to have them re-upholstered in all black. i just tried some fabric paint and it worked out ok. the cloth was kinda stiff after it dried

Nice, look way more supportive than OE ones. Upholstery paint is good, but will definately dry stiff and kinda crusty. So what were the seats out of? Bolt up pretty easy or did you fab something? Nice work.

What make/model are these seats? I'm looking to get some too, but in Black leather with a perforated charcoal center.

IIRC, those are OEM Starion/Conquest seats.

haha yes the seats are out of the infamous starion. only one of the bolts lines up, i had to cut steel plates and drill holes to fit the rest of the mounting points. just with two of the four bolts connected it's very sturdy and rigid, so they should hold for a while. i really don't feel like spending the money to get them re-upholstered, since i was trying to keep this mod "free" but you guys are right, they would look so much sexier in black.

i also have an intercooler and 12A turbo 8) more parts getting ripped out as i discover them

    SRT-4 "viper" seats

I happen to know where there's a set. They just need to be cleaned up a little....oh and good luck getting them out.

they feel incredible. i can take turns as hard as the car will let me and my body doesn't move an inch. i dont even have to lean a certain way. the side flaps hold you in so much. now i want better suspension. only complaint is that they sit way too low, and i feel like an asian behind the wheel. i can barely see over the hood, it's almost like a ford mustang.
