count the splines on the tranny

then get a spline count for 1g manual axles. then you'll know for sure.
the outer axle however is the same from manual to auto , 2g gst to 7g.

Yeah get a 7g. I picked mine up for $250.

The axles from a 2g eclipse and the same for the 7g. Reused my auto axles in the manual.

I used car-parts.com for both my motor and tranny. Got the motor for $230 from Illinois, and the tranny for $250 in Louisville Kentucky. I drove 120 miles to get it though. Thank god for the bosses big diesel

i should be doing the swap by the end of the month if all goes well...

all i need are my shifter cables, tranny mounts, and clutchline

i had to get my shit from 3g eclipses, man that sucked, so expensive, just my tranny cost me 700$

well i just happen to buy the 2g tranny instead of soltero, but now i have to spend like a million dollars to get the 2g axles

well be thankful you got a gst tranny, you're going to have alonger 1st gear and your your longer 5th gear will give you a higher top speed than the galant tranny
    but more importantly...
when cruising in fifth gear on the highway your rpms will be lower than that of a galant 5 speed... so you'll get better gas mileage.

would the first gear effect anything, like my 0-60 times tho?
