7g to 8g front end conversion

Well I may get a lot of crazy replies to this one but what ev's. I haven 't seen any 7g to 8g front end conversions, except for this one

    http://www.autoshow.permaisuri.com/Content...=20050804013405

I was wondering if there are anymore out there that u guys know about or generaly feel about this look.... I know we have 7g's and why would someone want to make it look like an 8g but you know 8g's don't look that bad either.

So iam guessing its not as easy as buying some 8g fenders, 8g lights and front bumper and adding or welding some brackets to support it all?? Aww just a thought thanks for the reply though...

    anything is possible.

but nonetheless. the smooth, contoured and curvy look of the 7g wouldn't match with the chissled angular look of the 8g. you would have to mod the entire car to mke it work. and that would be so very very expensive if you don't want it to look shotty.

Ya i agree just trying to explore some apperance options before I get started.

I am planning on getting that drifter body kit (same as urs peano) and maybe molding the side and adding a little different opjects to make it original. I'am still debating on getting it from ebay or streetconcept.com its abut $100 difference in price. what do you guys think...

that one has a wide body kit on the rear end.. it bulges out more than the 7g does.. but that car does look phat but i would guess they spent A TON of money on it..

when your intercooler is as obvious as that, AND the FONT is that BIG. its probably just like steve's intercooler. i.e. not hooked up.
so i bet under the hood its all cobwebs and oil leaks

its funny that he could have just left that intercooler alone and it would enhance the appearance of the car. but he used a giant stencil he made himself to put HKS on it.
one little and very stupid thing like that can ruin a car.

LOL - I was reading all the replies and suddenly I thought about this:

What if this is actually an 8g and then they just stick a 7g rear at the back? ha ha ha...

well i know it's a 7g, cause of the window controls in the door. I think the car is sweet, but i also think having the huge FMIC is rice!!! probably the very reason this car hasn't made international periodicals. Gauranteed that person ran out of money in the body work and ICE, to even think about performance, except the cross drilled rotors and brake upgrade.

Now what would be really hot is, if it was a 7g vr4 with all that conversion. it is right hand drive....
