I got a question for you guys...wouldn't it make more sense to run the pipe under the control arms, so the pipe is as straight as possible? I remember that's how it was done on the eclipse and on most subarus as well.

Problem there is clearance between the ground and pipe. AWD guys do that, but they have a lot more room to play with. FWD guys have to go over the arms.
