trade/sell idea running thru my head

well i own a 7G right now and my repair list is ridiculously long right now.i found a dealership selling some 8Gs and i could sell my 7G and it should give at least 65-80% of that.so i just wanted to know are there any MAJOR MAJOR problems that u 8Gers traditionally go thru like us 7Gers and our trannys.thanks for the help.feel free to give some advice too.

So far the only thing that I know of is Krispys intake breaking every other week, then there is the hot water shut off valve going out, well thats all I can think of.

Warping rotors no?

Well, I only had mine for about a year now, but no problems yet.

yeah i know of the warped rotors and the dreaded lifter tick

I see it as if rotors warp, they ate like $45 each here in GA and every time i replace the brakes, i replace the rotors. And with the Lifter tick, all i did was go to an express oil change around me and paid for the good engine fluch and if everything is done correctly, it fixes it. I would suggest an engine flush every 10-15,000 miles anyways. just keeps the engine clean and running good.
