Sorry, I still need to upload the pics, but the rears do rub when I hit a bump, so a little rolling of the fenders will be done tomorrow...also the fronts have rubbed once or twice on the fender well liner (this is fixed by cutting out one of the ribs that stick out 1/2 inch and covering the hole with gaffers tape)

    More pics to come.

    brakes

sorry to revive the post but im interested in the brembos. i got a guy willing to sell but im not sure if they fit and the answer is probably i need spacers i assume ur gonna say.. ne ways i got motegi dp6 42mm offset and i have probably about 1 1/5 in clearance between my rim now and the stock caliper on my 02 de single piston.. How much clearance is needed between the stock caliper and rim to know if it will fit if any body can help... Thanks for any info.. My rims reach the edge of my fender already and to put spacers will push it past the fender it looks like..

I just measured this yesterday and the distance from the EVO rotor to the rim is 2.5 inches. This is barely clearing the front caliper by 3mm...

Best of luck...remember, spacers are only good to a point. 25mm spacers are going to require longer lugs and will likely cause balance issues (even with hubcentric spacers)

2.5 from rotor to the closest point on the inside of the wheel spoke...and yes the Evo enkei's with a 35mm offset barely clear anyway

To get rim fittment I suggest you search evolutionm.net to see what wheels they are using.

Those look nice Chikago I can't wait to see some pictures in the day light. You defiantly pushed my interest to get a set evo brakes.

Who ever mentioned to go over to the evo forum and see if your wheels will fit..... I thank you. I didn't think about doing that before. Apparently my CP-035r's can handle the evo brake upgrade without spacers....yay.

Yeah, that's where I send everyone to look for wheels if they're gonna upgrade...but do you have the proper offset for an EVO, RH CP-035's come in many offsets...just want to make sure you dont get into more you want to handle.

    Here are the daytime pics:

Ah..... day light much better. I like the brakes and wheels they look nice. To bad you couldn't get a widebody setup for those new wheels.

im not sure what my offset is. When I ordered them over the phone they told me they would fit the Galant. I never heard them mention the offset on them. Is there a way I can check?

Call them back? Galant offsets sold are typically 45-48

Well, I bought DanJ's kit and installed it last week or last last week. I bed the brakes pads to the rotors and now, they are amazing.

Now, you just need to tap the brakes alittle bit and you feel the brakes ready and willingly to stop your car asap.

Thanks for the info here and chikagoGTZ, the install went easy, well after i got the right bolts(I should have read this thread clearly )

I painted mine so its not as red as yours but I may change it later to a different color when I get some free time again.
