    Nope... 24 valve SOHC.

    The 3000GT was DOHC for certain models. I believe the '91 to '96 models were all DOHC. The '97 to '99 base models were SOHC, and the SL/VR4 were DOHC. The VR4 model is twin intercooled turbo.

    the engine is also mounted backwards compared to the 8g. the internals are stronger.

    and theres only 1 intercooler and twin turbo. not the other way around

    What I was trying to say was 2 turbos with 2 intercoolers... but I guess even that is wrong.

    is there a big difference in speed between sohc and dohc?

    well there is no dohc.... i take that back i think there is one, but i haven't seen it on a 3g or 8g

    dohc mean + 20hp. j/k

    theres no speed difference per say, but dohc motors have more flexibility in tuning.

    u can do a headswap with a 6g75 mivec motor. the head bolts right on. but u would also need the ecu among other things. i seen it done once on our motor but it wasn't for the 8g / 3g
