if you buy the oem brackets AND energy oem replacement bushings for the appropriate size bar (eclipse application), then you shouldn't have to trim. however, it will cost you more to do it this way.
the enrgy universal bushings come w/ the brackets.

The endlinks don't cost that much...I believe I paid a little $20 for each side. (The endlinks are strictly Mitsu only...I couldn't find any aftermarket) The bushings and brackets are pocket change so that shouldn't be any issue. The sway bar itself you can find cheap...doesn't have to be a new OEM part. I got mine from a local DSM'er that upgraded to a thicker bar dirt cheap. I cleaned it up and had it powdercoated. Probably with ALL the parts for the swap...if you shop right, you should be able to buy them between $100-$150 give or take.
