Hah ok. Most work would be custom. Higher compression pistons, ported heat, ported intak mani(or aftermarket), exhaust, built head, exhaust, fuel management.

Its seriously more expensive and less of a gain to go NA. You think your car will be more reliable NA vs FI?

    300whp turbo - $4000
    300whp n/a - 15,000...easy.

Type in NA in the search field, search in the 8g forums only. I got 11 good results on NA modding. TGC Search works just fine

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(seth98esT)</div><div class='quotemain'>Meh truly making an NA car fast is just as expensive as turboing it or supercharging it. Â*

-First you need to start with the basics. Â*Intake/header/exhaust. Â*
-Then may up to an RPW Cam and cam gear(if you can get ahold of them). Â*
    -Or do the Evo headswap
-If your auto, that has to go, do the 5spd swap
-Next is to do headwork, oversized valves, porting, 5angle valve job, ect
-Next rewire your fuel pump, install an FPR and SAFC
-Dyno tune see what your putting down and be disappointed because you would have gotten much more with a basic turbo...Priceless

haha, maybe not, but NA mods require more work. Â*Lots of headwork, expensive camshaft and gears, ect.</div>

    oooohhhhhhh... you mean all motor?

if you don't build the motor just right a turbo can destroy it real fast. by building the motor up you increase the boost that you can run allowing for more HP. I say start on the top of the motor with new cams, lifters, roller rockers, titanium value springs, new cam gears, port and polish the heads and intake. Do all your electronics, msd will help you some. like chikagoGTZ said $15000 for everything to get the 300HP sounds close, but just shoot for 200HP+ then drop a turbo on it.

    just my 2cents

You do realize that with all that work that you just stated it cost much more than the Tearstone enhanced kit. You still could turbo a regular G motor you just can't run crazy boost.

i realize that, but by doing this your engine can handle boost of 10 or more. more boost = more HP.

300 wheel horsepower on a bone stock 4G64 @ 15psi is not good enough? I've often considered buying an ES just to make those kinds of numbers and never have to worry about it.

So, if anyone is selling a Northstar White Galant I'm on the lookout
