    RE: Chrome Galant

The rumor mill says the Galant RalliArt may hit dealers as early as March...
Pricing... no idea. My best guess, based on the assumed upgrades to the engine, suspension, and other trim, maybe $1500 to $2000 above the Galant GTS. :?

my guess would be some where between $28,000-30,000 about the same price range as the Altime SE-R but the car is definetly hot though, i wouldnt mind having one

Now this would be great for Mitsubishi - they need something now to compete with the Mazdaspeed 6, Altima SE-R, and Legacy.

Damn, I just bought my wife a new car....ah well, I hope 10K falls in my lap soon, maybe I'll get one of these if it's worth it, or Mitsubishi could screw it up again?

hmmmmm maybe I should start hanging out at the mitsubishi plant testing grounds with my camera, or at the plant managers house just incase they have a test vehical rolling around. It wouldn't be the first time I have seen mitsubishi prototype vehicals out on a test drive.

I talked with my friend at the dealership and he comfirmed that they will be produced and out by this late-summer it could be earlier too. As for pricing its going to be competitive he said around MSRP 31k-35k maybe more depends on Mitsubishi.

Considering that the 2006 Altima SE-R starts at $29,550, I think Mitsu should not price the Galant RalliArt above $31k. They'd be pricing themselves out of the market. In addition, I don't think many consumers would spend over $30k for a Mitsu, unless it's the Lancer Evolution...

it will probably compete more with the Altima SE-R, which is still FWD N/A
