    Galant 240M Launched in Philippines

The Taiwan-built Galant Grunder, rebaged Galant 240M, was recently launched in the Phlippines.
It looks just like the Grunder, which is itself based on the 9th Gen U.S. Galant. Mitsu Pihilippines is marketing the car as a luxury sedan. The interior certainly looks the part, though it is missing a navigation system.
IMHO, I'm still not sold on the grille, but I do like the interior a lot.

I'm not really feelin' the grill but I guess they had to do something to make it look different than the camry...

I wonder if parts would be interchangable with the 9G...if so, import the headlights and hood and a little surgery on the hood/grill combo then make a new grill...facelifted 9G...I also like the LED tails much better than the GTS tails. Power folding mirror might be pretty nice too

I don't like it. Looks something like the last Diamante. Ugly.

That Diamante is a p-chop?

I did not like the '04 redesign, but that car looks good.

That Phillipines' Galant has back up radar, interesting.
