    VR4 Grill

Will this fit the 2000 ES with or without the gap in the headlights I read about on another thread? I don't wanna bother with it if there's going to be a gap, or the gap isn't too bad. Any one know

You will have the gap unless you buy the heads also

yeah, they were photoshopped. They are on the car now, I just haven't had the time to get the new pics off my camera. It looks a whole lot better than what I had on there.

if it was specifically designed to fit USDM cars all I can say is that it's probably a modified grill from a US car. A lot of people have done this mod.

ya. it sounds like hes just selling a usdm grill with the middle cut out and mesh put in place.

So it's safe to say, no photo of the actual product, I should stay away?

Do NOT get this! It's just a modified USDM grille. But the thing is, all the mounting posts have been removed. Look at the pics closely. If you get it, you won't be able to mount it.

I think that's what the little metal clips were for, prolly fit with Zip Ties...but you can do this yourself to your USDM grille for less than $20.

Well you'll have to cut out the chrome plastic gills that are on the grill. I used a dremel tool I bought from Harbor Freight ( makes the job quick ) and then after that I just sanded the grill to get that chrome covering off and then just painted it. But watch out that you don't paint over the diamond star emblem. Also go to your local Home Depot and get some mesh, cut it to fit from the back of the grill and then glue it in. I used liquid nails to hold it in but I'm doing it over come spring time.

I have the VRG grill on mine with USDM heads, I will post up some pics so that you can see what kind of gaps there are and how I mounted it.

Here is an idea what kind of gaps you would get if you get a jdm grill....
