    Removing/replacing roof trim??

I want to sand off the oxidation and repaint the Galant. There is a long piece of trim that follows the roof line on the driver and passenger sides, which goes from front to rear of roof (almost along the top of the doors).

Does someone know how to remove/replace these without breaking them? I'd like to be extra sure and get underneath 'em, when I go to paint. Thanx In Advance!!

who's painting your car? If its a reputable shop they will know how to take them off. FYI they are bonded to the car with adhesive, you need like an exacto knife to get under them and cut in between the weatherstrip and the adhesive, if you cut the strip, its junk. I think new weather strips are like $60 from the dealer

Prepping/painting myself... maybe I'll swing by a shop to have 'em remove 'em. I guess reinstalling would just take epoxy or other strong adhesive.
