Old thread I know, but I didn't see anything else about 20s. Is it possible to use any other tire size besides 225 without problems? I see a lot of wheels and tires for sale in my area but the tires are always 235/35/20 or 245/35/20 or 255/35/20. What kind of issues would this cause? Thanks.

If Dave doesn't see this, you can PM him because he is like the master with wheels.

225-235 is the widest I think we can put on our cars when doing 19-20" Wheels. 20" x 8.5" is the largest I would go, with 235/30/20 tires. But depending on the offset u might rub. U will def have to shave not roll ur rear fenders. Racesnos has 20" x 7.5" wheels and has no rubbing issues dropped with Megan Coilovers. His tire size is 225/35/20 which is a lil too tall on sidewall height (which effects Speedometer & Gas Mileage) but it works.
