Uhh, can I have some comparison pics?

In all bloody honesty, I don't know what the hell you're talking about when you say 'cladding'.

    BMW owner. Galant fanatic.

Look at the bottom of the doors and you'll see that it looks as though it has a extra layer of "skin".

As opposed to my regular ES model that just has the side moulding.

I do believe the LCA are aluminum on all galants, the part is interchangeable between all models 99-03.

    WTF??
I have driven my friends 02 ES and the body roll is noticably worse. If you have drive both you can tell the difference. Its not that huge, but its there.

Haha yeah I guess youre right. Anyway, I was commenting on what reelax was saying. The major difference between them is handling.

Haha I tend to go off topic sometimes. My Bad.

Yes, cars with softer springs and higher ride heights will experience more roll. Adding sway bars will affect the Yaw (ie under/oversteer).

Body roll is really just the transferrance of the car's mass, which is bad when the body rolls it transfers more weight towards the outside of the corner, increasing the amount of energy needed to make the turn. Body roll can also cause you to lose your tire's contact patch quicker.
