what about the brakes and hubs from the 8g galant?
    will they bolt on directly?

so does that mean that i can use 8g spindles
and 1g lug hubs, rotors and calipers?
or do i need to use 2g spindles with 1g hubs etc?

you keep your exisitng suspension knuckle.

you bolt in the 8g OR 2g spindle/ hub assembly(its the exact same thing different names)

you keep your stock calipers and brackets.
you will need not only 5 lug wheels. but also will need 5 lug brake rotors.
    do a search.
this topic has been covered already.

i just threw out the 8g hub assembly compadability jsut to make parts ordering easier.

if you want to get junkyard parts,
then get the parts off of any 95-99 gs and up eclipse. preferable opne with rear disc.
then you can swap over the rear sway bar, rear discs, rear brakes, and all 4 hub assemblies with one kill.

the gsx front swaybar is thicker than the 7g galant stock sway.
i believe its 19mm over the galants 18mm front.
its a cheap, and worthy upgrade. i think you can get a bar on ebay for around 40 bucks for the front one

but if you want more neutral handling, its in your best interest to swap in a new rear sway. like in peanotation's tutorial.

if you want an easy pair of upgrades that won't set you back much at all,
get a gsx front bar, and a pair of energy suspension bushings for the bigger bar.

or even just get a pair of energy suspension bushings for your front bar and thats it.
no doubt if you are on original bushings they are shot, brittle, and loose.

its an easy upgrade. and well worth it i'm sure.

i went through all the work to post the info so people could use it. Look at TGC kind of like a library. There's a wealth of info here, you'll just have to[url=https://www.thegalantcenter.org/search.php]<span style='color:red'>"search"</span> for it.
