i dunno if this the correct place to post but i am curious to see pocket logs of some 8gs or even turbo converted galants to get an idea of how the engine reacts. I recently got a logger and been monitoring and i wanna see how everyone else looks tuning wise. Ill be getting my turbo in shortly as im waiting on some pieces to get delivered.

Other peoples logs are going to vary greatly depending on their setup, how they are tuned, ect. Each car will pull timing based on fuel and if there are any boost leaks.

And another thing, most 8gers do not have loggers, not even sure if any of them are running a logger. I can post some logs on my 7g but I doubt it would help you much. Basically you just want to shoot for an ~96-97v(I think, I have wideband so I dont even pay attention to o2 trims muwaha) o2 and 15* of timing at full boost.

Just curious, which logger software/cable did you get? Im using the logger from www.digitaltuning.com

i know that the logs will vary for each car and setup but im more concerned with seeing the values and differences in the setups. I no next to nothing about tuning but im curious to see how the values relate and how the cars are running. I bought a logging kit off ebay just because it comes with everything (palm cable and software) the sw is free ware but i cant complain. I am using palm n stein and obdgauge by the way. IF i could get my log out of my palm from palm n stein i would post it just for giggles lol. But i am interested in seeing urs if u dont mind.

Looks like I pulled timing around 4500RPM in the second log. Dont pay attention to my o2 trims, I have my o2 bank 1 simulated by my wideband so its not accurate. Otherwise it would be a perfect tune haha

thanks for posting the logs.. See looking at ur first log around 3300 to 4500 is that indicating knock because the tps is at 100 but ur timing is low?? thats y i wanted to look at logs so i can recognize issues and tune my self... thanks for posting by they... i see my timing is up in the 20s as im flouring it if im paying attention. Also my intake temp is at 110 to 130s is that normal ??? thanks again.

See theres where the different setups come in. You are a Naturally aspirated 4cyilnder with probably the basic intake/exhaust mods. I have a 4g63t swap with a descently sized FMIC. So of course my intake temps are going to be cooler. As for your timing, I am really not sure what you should be at, at WOT. I kow for the 4g63t applications, 15-17* at WOT redline is ideal.

In theory, adding fuel will drop timing to a certain extent. I will post some better logs today, try to get my byte timing better so it logs more data/s.

cool i bought the cable already so thats in the mail.. hey brandon using the pocket logger with the emanage - is the emanage gonna give the pocket logger false info???

Dang, I only get 14-16 samples/sec with my 2g ECU. I think thats about the max on this ECU though for some reason.

i gotta quest... with the pocketlogger using the emanage since it alters the real signal to the ecu, would that make the pocketlogger useless because it would receive the altered signal from the ecu right?
