    Fuel Delivery

Um forgot...on a 16g, can I run a stock fuel pump (rewired) with the 450cc injectors and have it suffice? Or should I swap for a 190lph? I know it wouldnt hurt, but if I can pass without it I'd rather...at least for now

you would be able to get away with the 450's with a little boost in base fuel pressure.
but you would definately need the 190 to run it safely. rewires too just cause its easy.
but they are cheap and you should be running one anyways.
which 16g do you plan to run?

On a 1g Eclipse they usually max out the 14b with stock 450ccs and stock pump at around 14-16psi. For a 16g(depending on which 16g), you could get away with 450ccs and the stock pump at 8psi but Id recommend not to. You will want more power, more fuel. Just grab a Walbro 190 for $85 and a set of 550cc or 660cc injectors for $150-250 and be happy.

well I am not going overboard. I am going to run stock internals and everything so, I may do the rewire and maybe a new fuel pump, but I will keep the 450's and stay between 6-8 psi

there is no easy r cheap way to efficiently run less than 8 psi on a mitsu turbo.
the wastegate spring is set to 8 psi and is not adjustable.
so count on running 8 psi.

since you are on stock internals.
you really hould think about feul delivery as a priority. no risking lean conditions up top cause knock will kill you man.

i don't think you will need anything more than 450's at low boost, but i would count on getting a 190lph. and even if you stay with your stocker rewire it. rewires only cost about 20 bucks if you get the parts yourself(at walmart)

we arent talking overkill. we are talking saftey.

also. hit up matt, he has a 190lph he is going to be getting rid of soon in favor of a 255lph hp pump.

Factury Mitsu internal gates arent adjustable. They do have an aftermarket adjustable interal gate or you could go with an external gate in which you can change the lowest boost by changing the spring.

to skimp on $100, it's not worth it. run a 190, and make sure your motor gets the fuel it deserves, this isn't the time to be a cheap jew. and a re-wire is a must.

So are you getting rid of the 190 Matt? I'll buy it...cuts down on me actually having to look for one!
