    access point

    does anyone know where the access point is for the 06 galant. i am installing some fog lights but cant seem to find where to run the wires through in the firewall.

    what model do you have? Is it the OEM foglights or aftermarket. My 04 ES came with the wires already and all you had to do was buy the kit and it comes with the fogs, switch, relay and instructions.

    i have an 06 es. the fog lights are aftermarket. i have the lights in, i just need to get the wiring into the car. it has its own switch for them. i am not using the factory ones.

    not really. But I guess you can play around with the wires that are already there but your gonna need a relay and a switch for that but i doubt the dealer would sell you just the switch but you can try.

    the dealer will sell you the relay and the swith i have an aftermarket foglights as well

    bypass the relay and use the harness already in the car, use your own switch and wire it in to the harness in the dash next to the dimmer.

    well if you were to get a system put in where power cables would have to be routed through the firewall - they would just drill a hole.

    so...drill a hole. cut a flap into the rubber/foam padding wall on the inside of the car (ensure there's nothing on the other side) and drill a wide enough hole - route the cables and fill the hole around the cable with a puddy. it will never be seen unless someone actually puts their head way down there - so it's not a big deal.

    SOLD.
