    Clicking sound when turning

Does anyone know what would cause a clicking sound when turning? I have been having this problem for about 2 months. It doesn't happen all the time. And it so happens that it didn't happen when I took it to the dealership. They say they checked everything (axle, front end, brakes, rotors) and they didn't find anything wrong. Some days it happens all day long. Other days it happens first thing in the morning and then occasionaly at night. But it seems like it is getting worse.

I'd say you should check out your power steering setup....since it only happens when you are turning that's where I would start.

They just replaced the powersteering column or something dealing with the powerstreering about 3 months ago. I wasn't having any problems and I took it in for an oil change and they told me it needed to be replaced and they did it that day.

A clicking noise sounds like the gear in the PS Rack is skipping, almost like a broken tooth.

The only real way to tell is to put it up on jack stands, and get something you can pin point the sound with (like those long straw type things that whistle when you twirl them).

It could be ANYTHING, and the above will pinpoint it.

    find a parking lot,
cut your steering wheel all the way to the right(as far as it goes)
    then put it in reverse.

you should hear clicking if its your axles.
