    Blacked Out My Tails

    With Niteshades today. still have to put a nice rubbing compound on them to get them to that mirror shine i want. i did a little something to keep it street legal too. ill have pics in a few days

    When you post pics let me know I was thinking about doing it on some tails and want to see how they look

    compound or some 1200 grit paper should really smooth it out.

    i wanted to do this too... i have the tez lights on right now might try doing this to the stock one's i got laying around...post pix of tha turn-out

    I am also interested, however cant find Nightshades in the stores, might use ebay.

    Question how did you made them streen legal?

    I did my tails with Nite-Shades, used 3 coats, they're BLACK, but if it's real sunny you can still see some red. But the light passes thru them flawlessly at night.

    Here's my blacked-out tails. 3 coats of niteshades. Never sanded them. Included quite a few pictures to show it from different angles and different light.

    Looks okay. I think I ve seen your car around. S Raleigh?Anyway, i would definelty do abit of wet sanding. Your car is very clean and the tails have no gloss to them. Just my .02.
