What tire brands do you stay away from

Its time to get some new tires for the rear and add a camber kit when I make the change because I'm pretty much on slicks right now, what brand names should I stray away from.. I've seen these brands in my current price range:

    Nankang
    Wanli
    Dayton
    Kuhmo

all shitty? I'm riding on Toyo Proxes FZ-4s and I'm not too impressed, I was all over the road one night on rain but that may be due to how bad my camber has fuct me over.

I liked my Kumho's. Nankangs and Wanli's are inexpensive tires, good for the money.

    I would recommend Toyo's Proxes 4, Kumho's Ecsta 711.

    What size do you need?

My Kuhmo 711's wear down pretty quick. They don't keep their tread long.

    Mine lasted 40,000 miles.

Do you want a tire that performs or a tire that lasts?

Do you want a summer only tire or a all season?

    Also a 215/50-17, a 205/50-17 ora 225/45-17 are a better fit for a 8G Galant.

Ecsta is what I've used for the last 2+ years. While they are very cheap tires ($95) they last for a while, and provide more than enough grip.

Quickest way to wear out any tire is with a bad alignment.

Mine are 215/45/17's. When I buy my new rims I'm going to want a bigger tire as my tires have taken a beaten these last few years.

Down here in miami, snow in the winter is the last thing will worry, but on wet roads, its tight.

i have kumho's now, some all season tire, but i would stay away from Fuzions, i loved them to death, but i think they were just made shitty

Got a bubble on 3 of them, blew out 2, and when they blew it just look like it was shreaded. Dont get me wrong BEST traction i had in the wet or dry, and my buddy has them on is imp and he swears by them too

so i dont know i would stay away from them unless you get a good deal.

i've had a lot of khumos, cause they're cheap and when i get flat tires it's usually the only decent thing they have in stock. they last a while, grip decently, and they're not a bad tire, but not that great either.

your proxes ride like shit cause your alignment is off. nothing pisses off a tire more than uneven pressure across it's tire patch. after i got full camber kits all around on my almost-bald khumos, i swore i was riding on slicks, the grip was unreal.

stay away from ventu hankooks. idk why hankook has such a following...

my first tires were nankangs. great tires, if i had to, i'd buy them again, but they don't come in the size i need anymore. right now i have nitto 225/40/17 and i'm in heaven, looking to get falkens when these wear out though

khumo's aren't the best tire but they are decent.
the thing i hate most about them is that they are very loud.
maybe i'm spoiled riding around on yokahama's for years, but i prefer my tires to be nice and quiet... to suppress road noise, not create it.

I have never had good luck with Bridgestone street tires....their performance stuff is better, but the regular tires are crap IMO.
