19 inch rims

I found a set of rims on superbuytires.com that i like. they are 19x8 diablo vienna's. they have a +40 offset. will they fit? i have a choise between Falken, Kumho, or Visa tires which ones would be the best? what size tire should i get, i want them with like no tire, i want all chrome. how much of a drop would it be to get rid of the gaps in the wheel wells? Is $2399 + $299 shipping a good price? Acouple days ago i posted about the black rims w/ the machine lip but i couldnt find the style i liked and in a 19 inch size. thanks to all who helped me out on those though. -Dustin

Im my opinion...19's are too big and too expensive. I mean your paying a huge amount more for 1 extra inch. 18's look tight with a nice drop...again this is just my opinion...but alot of people feel the same way.

What are you talking about??.. 19's look good and even better with drop b/c it' fits perfectly 18's you still get that little gap and tires still show a bit...

u could make the same "1 inch" argument about 17s to 18s too....but many or most still prefer 18s over 17s....
neway 19s would look great but the size at which ur looking, u'll prolly have problems....18s 8in wide with a 40 offset is iffy....19s in the same offset and width is sure to rub....ud be lookin at the eibach kit for a 1.2 inch drop 8)

wheels will not fit properly... Falken FK-451 tires are good... 225/35 or 235/35 - 19 is t tire you would need, but you are going to be pushing the limits with those things...

17's are a good all year long size, 18's are good if you live in a warm climate or you plan to take them off in the winter, 19's are good if you are like a show car or something, and you just bolt em up at the show or something, same with 20's

the bigger the wheel, the more maintenance you got to do.and thats means more $$

if u have cash do it. i have 18x7.5 +45 w/ 225/40zr18 and i'm tired of them... they look small 2 me but that's just opinion. just remember tires will run about $800.00 conservative for a set for 19's and u will need new tires every 15K miles (depending on ur driving habbits, believe me, high erformance tires are great but don't last very long, and that's all that come in these sizes). 19x8 +40 will be a tight fit and w/ a drop over an inch you will probably have to have ur rear fenders rolled. o yeah correct tire for looks and to stay close to OE spec rolling diameter is 225/35zr19. i am trying to find the perfect set of 19's but the only set i found that has everything i want is $1200 per wheel. my first priority is finishing my body kit.

reelax, honestly, i agree with you- your rims look small . Theylook like 17s to me. What kind of drop is that? Don't wanna put you down or anything - it is just a command.
I noticed that if the wheels have few spokes, compared with those which have greater number, they look smaller.

yeah they're 18x7.5 +45 konig monsoons on 225/40zr18 and the car is dropped on HR's cut 1 coil all the way around. they looked big when i got 'em but seem to b shrinking! i guess i am just getting bored w/ them.

When you get rims with a "LIP" they always look 1" smaller
