ABS Brakes/ Axles

how do you know if you have ABS brakes or Not? i want to replace my axle and it has 2 sets. Axles/No Axle

Slam on your brakes and see if they lock or not. Actually I think there is an indicator light on the dash that start up when the car is started.

All Galants ES and up came from the factory with ABS brakes. DE's did not, but it was optional. Basically that means you have ABS.

As far as I know it as optional only on DE trim levels and standard on all other trim levels.

You can open the hood and to the left near your brake master cylinder you'll see the ABS control module. It looks like the cars computer.
