Anyone have a 3G Eclipse strut bar with V6 Galant?

Just want to make sure once more before I go to get one from the dealer. Anyone with the V6 use the 3G Eclipse bar? Perfect fit?

    Thx

perfect fit, BUT, it wont bolt onto the firewall like the eclipse one does. just the strut towers.

theres nothing to drill. it wont bolt into the firewall because it doesnt reach the firewall, unless u want to fabricate some kind of triangle brace.

    the nuts or the studs?

home depot would have the nuts.

the dealer would have both. stuff like that isn't too expensive at the dealer

Just need the nuts, went to Home Depot and they told me that they don't sell metric nuts!
have to look at other hardware stores

your home depot is messed up. every home depot or lowes that i've been to sell metric nuts. its right next to the metric bolts in the drawer units. there's always the auto parts store too

    3g bar on a 8G V6

    I just intalled this bar.
Everything went great no problems except the nuts. Home Depot did not have the 8mm grade 5 nor 8. I had to settle for the regular 8mm with lock washers for the moment.

I had forgotten what a difference this bar made since I had it on the previous I4. It totally works, though I still wish that it would go straight from tower to tower.

I recommend this to anyone who does not have a strut bar and is on a budget. It works.

And by the way, I was not lazy this time. I grinded the unnecessary brackets off
    8G 4 life!

Mods: CAI,Grounding wires, CCorners, Shaved, 3G STB. AGX/Teins, Addco bar, OZ F1 wheels And well maintained : )
