I had my ECU replaced on a recall letter they sent me. They said its something about draining the battery when not used in a week.

just a question for you guys since this info is posted

do you need to get a letter from mitsubishi to get the recall done OR

can we just bring this file and show it to the dealer?

recall on the axel. a couple crashes caused by the axel, not quite a recall, but anytime soon it will be. the mitsu dealer has 25 complaints within the last 3 months.

Weird...I've gone drifting around my friends before in a big open parking lot a few miles away and never had any issues or anything...YES you can drift a FWD (I found out that night anyway, I didn't think it was possible lol)

HI there, i am very new to this forum and just as new to the mitsubishi family, i recently bought an 09 galant es, since the time of purchase i have nocticed the brakes are rather noisy both in reverse and frwd... can anyone tell me if this is a common problem? the dealership is trying to tell me that all mitsubishis do that and i am having a hard time believing that mitsubishi would manufatur all there cars to deliberately make these noises....someone please help

If you have hard compound pads, it will squeal a little, or they installed pads without deglazing the discs. But if you brake very very lightly like me, it will squeal a little bit and it's normal with oem pads.
