SES light, and yes, i searched

alright well recently i changed my CAI into a short ram cuz all the rain was causin the car to stall out all the time. well when i changed it, my SES light came on, so i disconnected the battery over night. the light turned off, but the next day i noticed my RPMs were jumpin funny and the car was stuttering a bit. i figured it was just confused and needed time to re-learn everythin with the short ram. well, tonight the SES light came on again...any suggestions?

I'd say give it like 10-15 miles for your car to adapt to the ammount of air now entering through your intake. Everytime I disconnect my battery the car acts the same way, except no SES light.

no code = no light. maybe try getting it read somewhere else.

ok well i went back to autozone and this time the guy was able to draw a code. he didnt give me the actual code, but said it was a "fuel trim malfunction (bank 1)."

i did some research and found this https://www.thegalantcenter.org/viewt...rim+malfunction
the post by D03GTZ looks quite helpful, but before i go through that does any1 have any insight to this?

If you read all the way down to the bottom of the post, I had a dirty MAF sensor, which I cleaned. Check all of the connections on your intake. Sounds like you have a leak somewhere. If they're all good and tight and sealed, try cleaning the MAF. Whatever you do, DON'T squirt TB cleaner through your MAF.
