    Burn smells

Yeah.. lately i've been getting these weird burn type smell coming through my vents when i'm driving.. i can't pin point it.. i checked under my hood and i don't smell anything out of the ordinary.. it happens randomly. sometimes i could be driving 5-10 minutes.. and i'll smell that burn.. almost like wires cooking.. then it will go away... sometimes i could drive for 45mins + then that smell will come.. i cant find any pattern into whats causing it..

anyone experience something like this before?

i have a system , but nothing smells like it could be burning, my amps and speakers are in the back and when i check there, there is no burning smell.. so i doubt it's that...

    i'm losing my mind :/

    Clean your engine.
Any dry leaves or caked on dirt will make it smell like that while driving.

Inspect your exhaust for plastic bags stuck on and burning....the most common cause of your above complaint.

Make sure your stereo heat sink isn't cooking anything under your dash.

Is your recirculating vents open or closed? If they are open it could be as simple as you driving by something in the area with that "burn" smell.
