Can anybody in the Sacramento area point me in the direction of a Mitsubishi Tech? Looking to get my belts replaced, and wanna make sure they know what they are doing. Thanks in advance.

I haven't been able to find an independant Mitsu specialist around her, either. If you're talking about the drive belts (not the timing belt) I had that done at the AAA shop on Folsom near Howe. No problems after the work. Apparently the Sacramento Mitsu dealer went out of business, but there's one on Florin Rd by Stockton Blvd called Golden State Mitsubishi.

I heard the same thing about the Mitsu Dealers around here.

I was considering going to the the Florin Road Mitsubishi, but is it recommended to go to a dealer to get work done?

Well, you'd expect a dealer to have mechanics with the most experience working on that brand of car, since that's all they work on. The downside is dealer service is usually the highest-priced. If I have to choose between dealer service, and a shop that only occasionally sees my model car (and Mitsus aren't big sellers like Hondas), I'd pay the extra and go to the dealer.
