    You guys really have some terrific shots in this thread. I love to take pictures when I travel...am currently using a Minolta Dimage digital. I have lots of pics from all over the world. BlueToro, I especially like your shots, only because i can identify most of the locations and subject matter

    Everyone, keep up the good work...this is one of the best threads ever

    Here is a few shots of my candle in my room then i took a pic of a leaf out side that fell off a tree and a pic of my earring at its colorfulness LOL









    My tool of choice is a digital SLR Cannon EOS Rebel XT with 18-55 lense kit...
    still learning alot about this thing so many options...

    thanks man. I apreciate the feedback. I try to keep this thread alive, I love to see the different photos from all different forums I visit. just noticed a while back that we didn't have a thread. hopefully it stays alive. GO OUT AND SHOOT PICTURES PEOPLE!

    cool shots. first off, is that someone with a t-shirt in the first photo. if so I want that shirt. those little plastic 45rpm clickers. I'm a huge record collector.

    second. I like the shot of the earring. it turned out really good. and the leaf one turned out ok, but if I can give you a pointer, it would be that if you are taking a macro or close up shot. to avoid using the flash. I could be wrong but it looks like you were using a flash in that photo. and it takes away from some of the great detail in the leaf. becuase its reflecting off the pavement. try experementing with macro shots using a tripod too and playing with lighting. it can be alot of fun. i got some good shots from experementing with that stuff. keep posting.

    Just got the Canon 430EX Speedlight, and so far so good. I'm also picking up the EF 70mm-200mm F4 L lens this weekend. Cant wait
