you talking about the sensor itself that screws into the tranny? or the harness that plugs onto the sensor... my sensor didn't come with a harness so i took two female quick connects and shoved them onto the pins, it was a good firm fit, and filled it up with liquid elictrical tape, which should leave a nice rubbery firm fill in the morning...

Unfortunatly no. Its really stupid actually. I pu the bottles of transmission fluid on a shelf in the garage. The next morning after I finished the swap I go into the garage only to find a big ass puddle with 2 bottles of tranny fluid laying in it :? . I dont know how this happened but it wasnt really a big deal, so i go to my computer to order somemore. Then I find out 4 days later that somehing whent wrong with my order and my bottles havent even shipped yet. So now that just what Im waiting on

Ok well I got my stuff in and filled it up, but now the car wont start. My first reaction was check the battery. Its fine. The engine turns over but then nothing. Also I can hear the click from the starter so I dont know what it could be. Any suggestions?

So the motor does turn over, the starter does engage? Are you getting spark? Fuel?

are you hearing the starter, or are you jsut hearing the clicking of relays?
is your auto shifter cable in neutral or whatever?

and you tried getting a jump from another vehicle?

Ok now it starts but when it does theres this loud clunking sound like something is hitting something. It is sounds as if its coming from around the belts on the drivers side. Yet I dont see anything hitting.

BTW the reason it would'nt start was because of an unplugged plug

Clunking? Maybe a tapping? Hows the oil level? Take off the timing cover to check the belt?

He shouldnt have anything to do with the timing, all he did was a tranny swap. Gotta be somewhere along the lines of the clutch and or maybe the axles.

I'd go over the whole installation again and make sure that everything is tight and where its suppose to be. When i did my swap i didnt even drive it for bout a week after till i did the look over on the install at least a few times to make sure it was all well. Its probably something small you over looked like making sure the engine mounts are tight.
