that way you weird people who like to drive around with only their foglights for whatever reason can do it, but you won't have shotty wiring, or cheap looking aftermarket switches in your cabin.

and woohoo, you could have yoru brights and fogs on at the same time.
if the fogs are powered by the parking light would it have enough juice to spark up HIDs?

I want to do an independent fog mod and eventually throw HID lights in there

did this upgrade a while back but w/out the relay. i tend to forget to turn em off sumtimes but luckily i dont have to worry bout draining the battery since i got an optima yellow top 8) i noticed you placed the toggle switch where the stock switch was but i placed mine in the tray slot below the a/c controls. easy to get to and it looks clean. bought an led switch but decided to go w/ the toggle switch since the led was bright as F**k and the placement wouldve blinded my rear passengers

I have no electrical knowledge but couldn't you just tap into the running lights with the fog wires rather than doing all of that? Like if you only wanted the corners and the foglights on you could do that by running the fog wires to the corner wires correct?

  13. #33
technically you can do that but you wont be getting the full potential of the lights by just tapping power from the parking lights.

Webhosting for less than $3 a month? put "pinoyesv6" as a promo code.

great tutorial, helped a lot!!! i wired the positive in to my parking lights instead of the radio so the fogs cant be on unless the parking lights are

    thanks again!

you don't use the parking light circuit to power the fogs.....

you use the parkinglight circuit to trigger the FACTORY foglight relay.

it literally take about 3 inches of wire.

    and thats it.

please do do your wiring without connectors or a relay pigtail if those exposed power wire touch the body or something you could have some serious problems

get one of these you can find them at pretty much any auto parts store or home depot/lowes)
