System question

For those of you with the Infinity stereos with subs in the back, what Line Output converter did you use (im pretty sure thats what its called) I heard that premium systems like infinity gold and bose etc. use lower voltages or something like that,

and also how did you get the power wire into the firewall?

You can use any line out convertor as long as it's rated for at least 30watts. As for going thru the firewall, you'll probably end up having to drill a hole. Not sure though since I haven't dealt with running power line in a 9g.

the place that installed my system just made their own hole through the firewall...drivers side - found a spot that was clear on the engine bay side..and drilled away. routed the cable, then plugged it with a black sticky puddy

mmmm black sticky putty. aka strip caulk, dum dum an installers best friend for plugging holes in firewalls.
