    Hey guys, where can I get a good inexpensive (oxymoron) water pump for a 01 8G 4cylinder?

    the dealership has one for for like 150 bucks. typical mitsu warranty but u know its quality.

    autozone has one for half the price with a lifetime warranty. its autozone's duralast brand.

    The OEM mitsu water pumps are you best bet for quality. They are bit more expensive but its quality stuff. Also the OEM water pumps have a "weeper" hole which usually start to leak a little bit indicating the water pump is going to give up soon. The aftermarket brands (Even though some use Mitsu cores) don't have this feature.

    If OEM is too deep for your pockets..I would recommend Napa or Bumper to Bumper. A good aftermarket brand for import parts is Beck and Arnley.
