    Replaced rear shocks, Uneven Wear

hey guys, ok a few months ago i replaced my rear shocks with a pair of KYB AGX adjustables. the old ones were totally gone. anyway the i could only afford two get the two rear because they were priority and planned on getting the front two sometime this summer. i didnt realize that my tires were wearing out on the inside REAL bad to the point where im surprised i didnt see any wire sticking out. im currently driving about 150 miles for work and the beginning and ending of the week which is going to kill the new tires i put on. i know its a camber problem and i saw a four wheel set for about 110$. id like to do it right and i know ill need a camber kit later to do that but money is an issue at the moment. is there a quick fix for this if i take in to like a pep boys or something can they do something that isnt going to kill my wallet? thanks for any help guys.

no. but they have bolts and washers that you can use to piece out a kit.

Webhosting for less than $3 a month? put "pinoyesv6" as a promo code.

koo thanks man that gave me some much needed info. i usually do a search before i ask but didnt have the time, working out of town near the bay area at the moment, sorry bout that. looks like if the bolts are long enough all i need is some washers, but i dont think there are any longer than they need to be so im figuring i going to need go get some. where can i find some bolts that would be a little longer and what type, i know they need to be strong bolts and dont want things to snap off, so ill put my faith in your guys knowledge. thanks again.

i was going to piece together my own camber kit, but the strength (or lack of) of the home depot bolts seriously worries me. home depot, over the years, has gone down the shitter in terms of quality, and i don't know if i would trust their pos bolts to keep my wheels from going 0* camber to about -20 when the heads break off

which brings me to my question: are you lowered? if so, what setup?

i have the eibach pro-kit, and i bought this kit from RRE:
    http://roadraceengineering.com/eclsuspension.htm

scroll down to 2g camber correction kits. the rear set worked for me like a charm, my camber in the back is an iota away from factory spec.

as for the front, i wanted an adjustable camber kit so i wouldn't run the risk of the RRE front kit not giving me enough correction

    so...i bought this
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...47205%26fvi%3D1

installed it, took my car in for an alignment. my toe and camber are all within factory specs, and my tires are lasting longer than anything. you don't have to get an official ingalls kit, i didn't and saved a nice wad of cash, and so far no problems.....so far. ebay also has tons of auctions for both the front AND rear camber kits.....you want anything made for the 2g

thanks man. i swear i love the amount of info and help on this site. no i dont have my car lowered yet just replaced the rear struts with KYB AGX adjustables because the stocks were completely blown. my plan was the get those and either ground control of skunk2 coilovers. but money has become an issue so unfortunatly im going to have to do this in steps now. first step is fixing the camber on the rear, next is getting the front AGX struts and correcting the camber, then the coilovers. hopefully i can do this before it to much time goes by, i dont want something wearing out just as im getting something new. ill just have to see if i can find some washers and longer bolts the same grade somewhere this weekend and rig it up until i can get it done right. i would just leave it alone until i had the cash, but it is my work car and i drive it up near the bay area from cent-cal so i cant afford to not have it.

how bad is the camber? have you taken it into an alignment shop yet? i find it kind of wierd that the camber on a stock suspension 7g is so bad that you would need a camber kit.....if nothing's changed, then the camber should be the same.

your springs could be blown and you could be sagging in the back, thus resulting in negative camber

no i havent taken it for a four wheel alinement but i does kind of sag in the back so i guess it would have to be the springs. about how much do stock springs run at the junk yard or wherever else.

I have a complete set of stock springs, name your price...

But yeah, I'd also check you bushings and see if any have given way.
