Yea i have to agree with that a turbo is a lot better performance wise but if you looking for a quick pick me up thats a supercharger. Personalyy i dont like thwm you would be better off with a t setup

Lol. Noone has actually tried it. I have the 94 MIrage distributor, but I got a better deal and I gave it up. If someone wants the distributor to machine it just let me know.

I want coil on plug neways.

And i hope this just isnt me but when i put the head on the top of the block some areas are exposed and so i found the water jackets that need to be pluged and god i hope this thing dose not leak oil or coolant or anything for that matter.

mitch the only holes that looks need to be plugged are the 5 non pressurized oil drain holes, if you see more to it post up some pics so i know before i put my other block together

most of us have been after this plug and play swap for so long that we've got used to the coil idea and found its better anyways for boost. lol its a find to late for its time. itd be ideal for n/a cheap GS builds on 7g's.

ima try it lol. ima pick up a 1g head next week so i figure a month from now id have it machined and rebuild its 2 cracked valves and ill post up then.

    thanks for the find though.

the advantage is the coils have more energy than the distributor

distributors sprak gets blown out at higher boost

So Peano and I were talking...why do you have to plug the drain holes? Is there any real reason that it needs to be done?

So part list question...well the simple list anyway

    1 or 2G head
    GS head gasket
    GS ECU
    GS Timing Belt
    ARP Head Studs

Am I missing anything? And what benefit from 272,275 or 276 cams would you get with 450cc injectors to support?

^^^^^^also need cam angle sensor and crank angle sensor

the drain holes are plugged because the DOHC block doesn't have them, plugging them helps relieve crank case pressure and keeps the oil flow system tighter
