    are u just looking for a replacement or for future upgrades, ie new engine, NOS, etc...need more info

    did u check to see if your tranny is rebuildable. uhm, that can save u money, go to a place that does like good work and offer a good warranty. level ten and places like those also build up your tranny for less power loss and makes it stronger

    im buying a stock Galant with a bad tranny for 350.00 its going to be a stock unit that im looking for, ive call tranny shops they want 1200.00 to rebuild it.

    check to see if they have a good warranty. i mean just getting a used tranny good or bad is just asking you to postpone things, you're gonna have to get the trranny rebuilt anyways...over time...might as well do it in the beginning

    go to Junkyarddog.com, tell them what u are looking for and watch the email come it with ppl with trannys for your car, keep in mind that the gst,gsx and the tsi will also work for our car as the galant is the platform these cars are built on, good luck, should be a few hundred dollers, no where near what u were gonna spend though....ewww....let us know...
