if so, 4 of each?

the boots you'll probably be able to reuse. when you take things apart you can visually see if they need to be replaced.

the mounts on the other hand, you might want to replace. i didn't replace mine but then again, i know that if i ever had to replace mine, i know how to take my suspension apart safely to replace it.

Webhosting for less than $3 a month? put "pinoyesv6" as a promo code.

I have an extra front strut mount if you want to buy it. It's a KYB mount, NIB. Make me an offer with shipping if you're interested.

They don’t make boots for the front so you will have to reuse those. I posted about this a while ago but I can’t find my post. You don’t need them. I bought them but the rear mounts aren’t exactly the same as the oem parts and are thus a little confusing. I think I installed them right... the boots are cheap so what the heck. The point is you don’t need them. If you are thinking of lowering it yourself, seriously reconsider this. I lowered mine yesterday (GR-2, Progress) with the help of my friend. Nether of us had any experience and it ended up being a 15 hr job! If you want to do it yourself then look for someone with experience. BTW the front and rear mounts are different as well as the boots so no not 4 if each. Make sure that when you order the front struts you notice that the right and left have different product numbers.
* KYB GR-2 shocks and struts $210
* Progress Technology lowering springs $157
* Lowering your own car for the first time, priceless.

Since you will have the strut/shock assemblies apart...you might as well replace the mount bushings. I suggest using the KYB's, they are about $11-$13 per set and worth it. If you were getting some "clunking" noises during small or big bumps...then you mount bushings were bad anyways.

Sometimes I get some creaking or clunking noises going over parding lt speed bumps and I just installed new rear mounts. Do they need grease or someting. It sometimes (rarely) comes from the front too.

Hi I thought I revive this topic since nobody answered mine. I'm ready to purchase the KYB AGX shocks and I wanted to know which strut mounts to I buy? the ones for the eclipse 00 - 04 or the ones for the Galant if any?

I'm planning to use the same boots from my OEM shocks.
