Vacuum Modulator in a '96 Galant?

I'm sorry if this has been asked before. My tranny jumps sometiems when I accelerate at low speeds from a complete stop. Do 7th Gen galants have Vacuum Modulator, or is it too old school and I just got a bad tranny?

    no vacuum modulator.
your trans is 100 percent electronic.
make sure your trans fluid is full and clean (check it ONLY in nuetral with the car warmed up and running). checking it in any other gear will result in incorrect readings.

and use ONLY mitsu trans fluid. aftermarket fluid is garanteed to cause slipping / shuddering / harsh shifts.
