Like I said, 2 days ago I change my brakes. I get the ceramic duralast from autozone. I think, the mechanic forgot to put the Inner/outer shim on the passenger site, now my car is making noise when I drive. Like ( shhhhhk, shhhhk) (sorry for that explanation of the noise.). DO you think that can cause the noise? See pic # 4( top) or 5 (below) for the part.

Just remove and clean up the ones on the back of your old pads, and reuse them

I tossed out my old pads. If you are talking about the pieces that said duralast gold on them, I installed them. :?

If you threw out the old shims & can not locate new ones or dont want to buy new ones, auto stores sell this stuff you can spray on the back of the pads to help get ride of the noise some. Some times the stuff helps some times its no good.
