Isn't the 10G going to be out soon?

As far as I know the 9G Galant made in Normal, ILL is sold worldwide by Mitsubishi.

Well not entirely true, the 9g isn't sold as a galant over here, it's called the 380 ( 3.8l V6 ). They are made by Mitsubishi Australia, and the facelift ones you now have are actually the 380's. The design is all Australian with a few US featurs thrown in.
And as far as I'm aware, Japan doesn't have that generation galant. they stopped at the 8g. For the longest time, they were producing the 8g for NZ and Australia right up until 05' when it was stopped due to lower units being ordered.

I think the lancer is soon to be the new galant. The galant will vanish in a few years but I dont care.....cuz i got one. yea

i doubt thats gonna happen.

The new lancers are aggressive and small. more for the youth.

If you havnt seen the legroom and space in the back of the 9gs, go see one. theres a big difference between the 8th and 9th gens.

Mitsubishi has scored big with the compact, superfast Lancer Evolution. Maybe some of that DNA, in a smaller-than-now body, could be a hot ticket for the Galant in the U.S. market.

so.. we might see something like a VR4 for the 10g.. or maybe like the I4T from the evo.. that would be hot.. either 30gs for an evo or a Galant I4T.. that would be hot.. if they had the same engine.. i hope they go for the shark look like the 8g..

Well the Diamante is no longer so there is a niche that the Galant needs to fill against larger rivals like the Maxima and its competitors.

let's see how much heavier and bigger they make it. maybe it'll just be identical to a chrysler 300 this time. next year it can be the nissan armada.
