just bought a jdm bumber with fogs

ok ok its completed!!!! here are the intstall picstured, and my ride with the new jdm front. now i have problems with fogs, i used my wiring from aftermarket fogs, which are wired to a relay, did all the wires correctly and went to flip the switch and nothing, anyone have any idea whats up..???

NOW MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE THE CRASH BAR MOUNTS, THE BOLTS FOR THEM ARE LOCATED RIGHT UNDER, USE 15MM SOCKET IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THEM YOUR JDM BUMPER WILL NOT BOLT UP

get rid of those aftermarket fogs when you get the bumper. they look cheap, and ruin the look

make sure he includes the foglight switch panel when he ships it, i know he has it.
cool thing is the one in the picture has the controller for the power folding mirrors!
ask him if he woudl throw in the jdm bar for a little more, and ship it together

definalty i will take those ugly round fogs, and the stickers, it will be repainted white..................i know proto has a bumper just like that still for sale contact him sleppervr4

looks like you're gonna have to do something about the fins in the opening since it looks like they were cut to make room for the fogs.

it would look good in white with the fins take out and everything smoothed.

awww thats gay as hell.
i think the grill is one of the things that make that bumper so hot!

i guess you could try to glass the grill bars back in

or just stuff a big fat intercooler in there.

but still,
i like the look of an intercooler behind a grill, instead of the grill cut out to frame an intercooler.

I caught that right away too. figured they did to make the space for the ugly fogs. Will look much cleaner without them for sure. Don't know how it'll look with the cutouts though.

i think it wold look right out sick if you painted the bumper white of course,
and left the airdam grill black, or painted the grill in oem style plastic paint.(the matte black)

would tie into your tires, tint,headlights and your c/f hood.

leave the two upper grill inserts black too. i think it looks horrible on the 7gA when those are paint matched, especially on white g's

and whats with the gayness of the inverted triple diamond?

Haha I noticed that too. I have some pics of the Diamond edition bumper with and without the grills, it looks good both ways!

IMO Id prefer the bumper to be white and the grill to be black :)

Grill and airdam should definately be black after looking at the car in general. Would look really bad all white to put it kindly. I'm sure you'll figure it out once you get it all bolted on there.

well even though you have the tbar i always wondered if a good body guy could eliminate the middle hump on the bumper 94-96. Then use the 97/98 bar... and fabricate another grill insert. I don't think it would be that hard to shave the middle hump and make it flat.

I just got my JDM tails lights from a E54a galant and the guy wanted to sell me some VR4 grills but 125.00 I don't think that they were worth it..... No grills for me

there is no crashbar at all, your crashbar is the thin metal piece for the fogs. 94-96 grills will not fit, there is a 1" gap between the bottom of the grill and bumper, only diamond edition ones will work.
