I tried searching but could not find the output for the AC S7 Gauge overlays inverter. My inverter that came with it is starting to fade pretty quick, and am looking to replace it.

    Thanks,

the inverter ballast is pretty much universal so you can pick one up from lets say speedhut or ebay for not that much.

I was more interested in the specs, bc I can get the right parts to make my own for almost free or free.

I guess I will just have to open up the dash and look at the specs on the one in there. I am hoping it is DC to DC, I don't feeling like messing with rectifiers.

i believe the inverter turns dc current into the ac current the gauge faces need.

It's definately a dc to ac converter with a transformer to boost the ac voltage.
