Hi, I'm going to purchase a 1994 Super Saloon Galant in the next few weeks, but I can't seem to find any real hard info on the car, just bits and pieces mostly on sales sites.

    All I really know is it's a 5spd manual, 4cyl.

Also, the current owner says it's in good condition (with 180,000km) but burns a bit of oil which also leaves crap over the back of the car. This has apparantly been attributed to the engine running rich and injecting too much oil.

Is this something that would be relatively easy to fix or would I need to take it to a fuel injection specialist?

The suspension is also squeeky at low speeds, can anything be done about that?

    Thanks for any help!

and as for the suspention I would say that when buying a car from somone else you don't know how they drove it.... I think a little oil leaking and a little squeeking is normal... it is a 94 just take your time and get you some service info... paying someone else to fix things are not alway fun believe me I am the one people usually pay ASE certified (not in everything but just enough to get by!!!!!).... but I would just take my time with the car just like every other car....

8g tranny is being rebuilt and waiting on ground control coilovers
7g is just sitting motor and tranny is out(need to finish, just lazy)
6g (vr4) motor is out getting the good stuff like a gt4088 and some more stupid stuff.
    Nice to be back!!!!
