ok guys i found a talon tsi on the junk yard!, it has all the turbo parts required.

now please you turbo gurus for a 7g, let me know what i need to grab, so i wont forget... now remember this is a stock talon tsi, so i wont go fancy with the parts just yet

list everything as you would be doing the work yourself.... all help is needed from you..


i will be posting pictures tomorrow of the condition of the parts, thats why i need your feedback as fast as possible, escpecially you matt, john, seth, you guys are who i look up too..

and any info on a talon tsi i can get if usefull too.

i would say for starters, the manifold, turbo, fuel rail, injectors, fuel pump, IC, return lines... just to name a few...

If you seriously want to do this, this is what I would grab off that car assuming its a 5spd:

-14b turbo: As long as it has little to none shaft play
-Exhaust manifold/o2 housing: As long as they are not cracked
-450cc Injectors
-Resistor Pack
-IC piping
-Side mount intercooler
-Throttlebody and elbow
-Blow off valve

Thats about all that is worth taking. Leave the fuel pump, it would be more of a pain to get then what its worth.

Sounds good jake... I've gathered many parts for my turbo build as well from a 1g talon, but Iam working on the electronics... Post up your progress whenever you get a chance, and good luck
