I have a 01 Galant GTZ and have 106,000 miles on it. no mods on this car. Just had the timing belt and the 90,000 mile maintenance done to it by the dealer last September. After that, it’s been throwing the P0303 and P0300 codes and the dealer already replaced the spark plugs, wires, rotor cap and the rotor. They even re-flash the ECU or ECM according to the bulletin. Also, they switch the injector from #3 cylinder to #6 cylinder, still throwing the code P0303.The AutoZone guy told me it might be the valve in #3 cylinder being dirty or sticky. So, what I’m doing now is adding an injector cleaner on it but the check engine light still coming on and off especially if the tank is ¾full. I’m thinking of moisture in my fuel tank. Btw, the car runs fine is just very annoying when these lights are on.

Then last night after driving approximately 300 miles, the check engine light came on and I thought it was P0300 or P0303 codes throwing on me again. When I stopped, the headlights won't turn off. I open the fuse box, and the lights turn off. Once I closed it, it turns on. So, I decided to disconnect the battery. And then after a while, I connected the battery the check engine light disappeared and I don’t have a low beam but the high beam works. Fuse was okay and replaces both bulbs today and still no low beam.

Is there anybody experience this? Suggestions, ideas or fixes is highly appreciated.

A filipino's number one dream is to own a car before anything else. In the philippines, most private car owners consider their vehicles as an extension of their home but with one differrence: a home is where his wife cooks while a car is where his girlfriend builds a fire. Hmmm...

well in disconnecting your battery for a period of time the ecu resets itself, thats why its not throwing any codes at the moment but it will after x amount or miles i forget specific i think like 30 tho

Ok, i took it to the dealer today and they found the right side cam not align to the tdc causing the multiple misfire. Hopefully, the check engine light won't come on anymore.

About the low beam inop, they found the relay burnt out.

Many, many thanks to those guys who respond to this thread, keep up the good work. :) :) :)
