Well thats it post year and trim, and why it failed if you know and at about what mileage.

    2001 ES V6

About 50k the shift plate finished cracking and sent fragmets throught the tranny pump. the tranny failed at 50mph traveling down surface street, the engine stalled and I pulled it into a parking lot at about 45mph semi sideways with no power steering or vacuum assist brakes. Man my sisters where screaming.

01 ES I4. 92k on the slushbox. It did it's job for a long time, but to me the job wasn't good enough.

33k on the 5-speed. It's doing it's job just fine. Which reminds me, anyone want to buy an automatic tranny? lol

Of all the people.....I expected that you would do a 5-speed swap. You've spent so much time and effort into getting your car nice looking, now do the swap!

Shouldnt this be on a dodge/chrysler forums or something..... I dont think too many of us have tranny issues. (unless people know you have a shemale folder on computer..... then you have "tranny" issues :D )

Yah 7gers have more problems. Unless your an Autocross addict, the stock trans should hold up just fine :P

186,000 miles on factory 5 speed and engine, then about another 16,000 on the factory tranny with my 4g63t.
    still holding up.
2nd gear has had better days, and the tranny as a whole is starting to get pretty noisy lol.
but other than 2nd gear popping out every now and then, no grinds, no problems.
